Tim Salmon hit 2 doubles at Metrodome where the Anaheim Angels beat the
Minnesota Twins 5 to 4.
 
Anaheim took the lead for good in the top of the 6th inning plating an
isolated run utilizing 2 base hits.  Minnesota threatened in the 9th but
Anaheim was able to put down the rally.  
 
John Lackey(2-4) allowed 3 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Lackey got relief help from Troy Percival who gained credit for his
11th save.  Mike Jackson(0-1) took the loss in relief.
